When Fibro Jumps You
and the ringing in ears begins.

Fibromyalgia flair ups can easily induce a migraine or other types of headaches.

Anyone else deal with their pupil dilation getting out of hand?
°it can make migrainge worse.
°it can make you more susceptible to visual seizure triggers.

Dealing with Pupil Dilation.

Step by step on how to go into the light.

When this happens,
•turn on a night light & wait five minutes or until you can withstand the light of 4wat/7wat light bulb.
•turn on bedside table lamp, low light level suggested for nighttime reading and wait a good 10 minutes or until your eyes adjust.
•turn on a regular lamp and give yourself a good 20 minutes to adjust making sure that vertigo does not set in. If pain starts to get worse then go back to the step before this one.
•Put on a pair of sunglasses and step outside the front/backdoor into the outside world. Don’t go anywhere just stay there and give yourself a good five to ten minutes to fully adjust, again making sure a migraine doesn’t jump to you.
•You’re ready to get on with your day and hang out with friends outside. Just remember to bring your nausea and migraine medicine with you.  Most importantly, drink lots of water.
*I hope this helps someone other than myself. Yes, I do those tops above to continue my life~

*If the pain becomes unbearable, call your doctor. Example: if it’s a Saturday, but you’ve had your migraine since Friday or Thursday, now it’s getting more severe, Have a friend drive you to an urgent care but go to an actual ER if the urgent care near you does not have a CT scan machine and case of it being something much worse.

*If you cannot leave your bed and the pain is only getting worse than usual, if you don’t have anyone that could possibly drive you, call  ambiance because it might not be a migraine or your average fibromyalgia flare up.

If it’s so bad that you are unable to dial 911 on your phone and unable to yell out, if you can move your body in any way –even if it’s like an awkward snake /crawling movement- do the best to get outside your front door and lay in an awkward position on the doorstep and hopefully someone will stop to take notice and call an ambulance for you.

Worst case scenario:  You are completely incapable of moving even an inch anywhere throughout your entire body, unable to shout and you live alone… The only thing you can do is wait it out and pray it’s not a stroke.
